Trivia[]
- This video takes place at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California and was recorded in September 1989.
- The Metro monorail seen during "Let's Twist Again" at the beginning of the video was permanently closed in 2000. Many of the rides seen in this segment are no longer in operation, such as Scrambler, Reactor (replaced by Batman: The Ride), Sierra Twist (replaced by Pistachio Park), Freefall, Z-Force (also replaced by Batman: The Ride), Condor (replaced by Viper), Eagles Flight (replaced by Superman: The Escape), Spin Out, and Subway (replaced by Wonder Woman: Flight of Courage). However, others such as Swashbuckler, Ninja, Buccaneer, Gold Rusher, Jet Stream, Tweety's Escape remain in operation, and some are operating under different names, such as Turbo (now Teen Titans Turbo Spin).
- Among the roller coasters seen in "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", Ninja is still in operation, while Colossus was converted by RMC into Twisted Colossus in 2015. Wile E. Coyote Coaster (which later became Magic Flyer) was a small junior coaster that was used to record scenes with the kids singing.
- In 2014, Colossus caught fire.
- The Sandblasters bumper car attraction seen in "Little Deuce Coupe" is now known as Jammin' Bumpers.
- The Sweet Spoon candy kitchen seen during "Fast Food" later became known as Coaster Candy Company and remains in operation. The wooded area the kids were eating at was known as Spillikin Handcrafters Junction, which was replaced by Cyclone Bay in 1991.
- The Revolution looping coaster seen during "Here We Go Loopty Loo" was refurbished into The New Revolution in 2016 with a VR experience. Two years later, the VR option was removed and it is now known as The Classic Revolution. It is unknown what happened to some of the smaller rides at Bugs Bunny World seen during this segment, such as the apple worm ride.
- The Center Ring Games area seen during "Anything You Can Do" is now known as The Boardwalk, though the Skee-Ball lanes are no longer there.
- The Aqua Theatre seen during "Splish Splash" was replaced by the Batman Action Theater in 1995, which itself was replaced by Justice League: Battle for Metropolis in 2017.
- The pirate-themed area seen during "A Pirate's Life" resembles Shipwreck Shores at Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles, though that was not opened until 1995, so it is undetermined where that segment was recorded.
- Among the water rides seen during "We're Gonna Get Wet", Tidal Wave was closed in 2019 and Log Jammer was closed in 2011. Only Roaring Rapids remains in operation.
- Six Flags Magic Mountain used to hold fireworks shows over Mystic Lake like the one seen during the "1812 Overture" segment at the end, though it is unclear where the fireworks scenes in the video were recorded.
- It was the fifth appearance of Ingrid Dupree as a Kidsongs kid.
- Josh Wiener (later known as "Josh Keaton") would return to Six Flags Magic Mountain as the voice of The Flash and Green Lantern in the park's 2017 addition, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis. In the ride, Green Lantern utters the line, "Loopty loop coming up!" which could be a reference to "Here We Go Loopty Loo".
